I./ OBJECTIVE:
1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to say family’s
members, ask and answer their ages.
a. Vocabulary: father, mother, grandpa, grandma, brother, sister, baby,
cousin, aunt, uncle, friend.
b. Grammar: Question with “ How old is your……?” and answer “ He’s
…… years old”
2. Ability needed
Groupwork and independent working, pair work, linguistic competence,
cooperative learning and communicative competence
- Skills: Ss will be able to say family’s members, ask and answer their
ages.Talk, listen and write the names correctly.
3. Attitude: - Students can name some family’s members.
- Be friendly.

2.1 Presentation - Practice ( 15 ms)
Part 1: Listen and point then talk
Aim: Students can name family’s members
1. Introduce the new words. Use pictures
or realia to introduce clothes. Continue
until students can produce the words on
their own the words.
2. Play the Class CD. Track 09. Students
listen, point and say along with the CD
3. Guide students to practice these words
by pointing to the pictures and name the
animals.
4. Introduce the pattern with the
vocabulary.
“ How old is your……?”
“ He’s …… years old”
5. Guide students to practice in pairs the
new vocabulary, pointing at the pictures
and answer with their real ages.
