Greet the class saying Hello. Then greet
a few individual students saying Hello.

can practice the conversation with their
classmates.

2.1 Presentation - Practice ( 15 ms)
Part 1: Listen and point then talk
Aim: Students can talk about their favorite activities .
1. Introduce the new words. Use pictures
or flash cards to introduce some
activities. Continue until students can
produce the words on their own the
words.
2. Play the Class CD. Track 17. Students
listen, point and say along with the CD
3. Guide students to practice these words
by pointing to the pictures and name
some activities.
4. Introduce the pattern.
“What do you do at the beach?”

Then students practice the pattern.

Games: Telephone
Games and activities:
Have the class form one line. Whisper a
different sentence to the student at each
end. Students whisper the sentences
along the line. No repeating allowed.
When the sentences reach the end, have
the students on the end say the sentences.
