the house and statements with prepositional phrases.
b. Grammar: Prepositional phrases with “There are………. and …………..
in my bedroom” and “There is …………in my bathroom.”

Aim: To attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and lead in the lesson
Warm up.
Greet the class, saying Hello, everybody.

breakfast ? to review the previous lesson.

2.1 Presentation - Practice ( 15 ms)
Part 1: Listen and point then talk
Aim: Students can talk about things in the house
1. Introduce the new words. Use pictures
or realia to introduce things in the house.
Continue until students can produce the
words on their own the words.
2. Play the Class CD. Track 13. Students
listen, point and say along with the CD
3. Guide students to practice these words
by pointing to the pictures and name
things in the house.
4. Introduce the prepositional phrases.

5. Show students some pictures with
things in the house and they can practice.

then correct.

1. Put the mirror, the bath and the
shampoo in the bathroom.
2. Put the guitar, the pillow and the
bookcase in the bedroom.
3. Put the bowl, the spoon and the knife
in the dining room.
4. Put the clock, the armchair and the
computer in the living room.
