I./ OBJECTIVE:
1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about food/ fruit
and what they have for their meals.
b. Grammar: Question with “ What do you eat for breakfast?” and answer
“ I eat ……. for breakfast”
2. Ability needed
Groupwork and independent working, pair work, linguistic competence,
cooperative learning and communicative competence
- Skills: Ss will be able to talk about food/ fruit and what they have for
their meals.Talk, listen and write the food correctly.
3. Attitude: - Students can talk about food/ fruit and what they have for their
meals.
- Be friendly.

1. Teacher: Textbooks, computer accessed to the Internet, projector
2. Students: Textbooks.

1. Checking: During the lesson
2. New lesson:
a. Vocabulary: Apple, lemon, onion, watermelon, grapes, coconut, fish, egg,
meat, chips, bread, orange, potato, pineapple, ice-cream.

1. Warm up ( 5 ms)
Aim: To attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and lead in the lesson
Warm up.
Greet the class, saying Hello, everybody.
I’m hungry today. Then invite individual
students to stand and say Hello,
everyone, I’m (tired) today. Teacher can
ask What do you want ? and elicit the
answers

2.1 Presentation - Practice ( 15 ms)
Part 1: Listen and point then talk
Aim: Students can talk about food/ fruit and what they have for their meals
1. Introduce the new words. Use pictures
or realia to introduce clothes. Continue
until students can produce the words on
their own the words.
2. Play the Class CD. Track 11. Students
listen, point and say along with the CD
3. Guide students to practice these words
by pointing to the pictures and name the
food/fruit.
4. Introduce the pattern with the
vocabulary.
“ What do you eat for breakfast?”
“ I eat ……. for breakfast”
5. Students make an interview. Write
their friend’s names then go around and

Aim: Ss listen and write the sentences.
1. Direct students’ attention to Listen and
write section.
2. Play the Class CD. Track 12. Students
listen and write the sentences.
3. Ask some students write the answers
then correct.

Games: Two truths and a lie
Games and activities:
Distribute paper and drawing supplies.
Students draw two or more pieces of
food/ fruit. Then bring three students to
the front then their friends guess what the
three students have for their meal.
Students participate in the games

Aims: SS will draw the food they want for their lunch/ dinner
