I./ OBJECTIVE:

1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about shopping

and clothes.

2. Ability needed

- Skills: Ss will be able to talk about shopping and clothes. Talk, listen and

write about shopping and clothes correctly.

1. Teacher: Textbooks, computer accessed to the Internet, projector

2. Students: Textbooks.

III. PROCEDURE

1. Checking: During the lesson

2. New lesson:

a. Vocabulary: store, walk, bus, phone, time, weekend, money, clothes.

b. Grammar: Questions words / Present simple

Warm up ( 5 ms)

Aim: To attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and lead in the lesson

Warm up.

Greet the class. Set 2 minutes for 2

teams, students list the vocabulary

related to clothes or shopping. The team

which has more anaswer is the winner.

Shopping: mall, sale….

2.1 Presentation - Practice ( 15 ms)

Part 1: Listen and write

1. Introduce the new words using

explanations, pictures, examples…Let

the students read through the words.

Teacher checks the meanings to make

sure the students understand.

2. Let the students guess the words in

the blanks.

3. Play the Class CD. Track 40. Students

listen and write.

4. Ask the students tell their answer and

give feedback.

2. Ask the students to guess the

partner then check as a class.

4. Students can practice using other

appropriate questions.

My name’s Tom and I’m twelve years
