UNIT 11: HOW DO YOU FEEL?
I./ OBJECTIVE:
1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about feelings
and hurt.

- Skills: Ss will be able to talk about feelings and hurt. Talk, listen and write
feelings and hurt correctly.

1. Teacher: Textbooks, computer accessed to the Internet, projector
2. Students: Textbooks.

1. Checking: During the lesson
2. New lesson:
a. Vocabulary: Earache, bad back, stomachache, cough, headache,
toothache, hurt shoulder, sore eye.
b. Grammar: Question “How are you?” and answer “Doctor, I ‘ve got….’

Aim: To attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and lead in the lesson
Warm up.
Greet the class saying Hello. Then greet
a few individual students, saying Hi,
(Tim). What day is it today? Elicit the
responses Hi, (Ms. Jones). It’s (Monday)

2.1 Presentation - Practice ( 15 ms)
Part 1: Listen and point then talk
Aim: Students can talk about feelings and hurt .
1. Introduce the new words. Use pictures
or flash cards to introduce some feelings
and hurt. Continue until students can
produce the words on their own the
words.
2. Play the Class CD. Track 21. Students
listen, point and say along with the CD
3. Guide students to practice these words
by pointing to feelings.
4. Introduce the pattern.
“How are you?”
“Doctor, I ‘ve got….’
Then students practice the pattern.
